I currently run a part time practice & may not be available when you have a mental health emergency crop up. Here are the steps I ask clients to take in that situation:
1. Call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Room if you, or a client you are caring for, is struggling to be safe with themselves or others.
2. Remember your resources and coping skills. Sometimes the simplest things (deep breathe, walk outside) get us through the toughest moments. Check out the box to the right if you need more ideas.
3. Reach out to me by calling, texting, or emailing. Even if I cannot respond right away, that will let me know you're looking for additional support and I can reach out once I'm available.
